Patti LuPone: Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda…played that part

Tony and Olivier Award-winner Patti LuPone in her critically-acclaimed concert COULDA, WOULDA, SHOULDA….played that part performs songs from musicals which she could have played, should have played, did play and will play. The list of shows includes Hair; Bye, Bye Birdie; Funny Girl; West Side Story; and Peter Pan. It also includes her Tony Award-winning performances in Evita and Gypsy.

A two-time Grammy and Tony Award-winner, LuPone graduated Juilliard and began her professional career as a founding member of John Houseman’s The Acting Company in 1972. She made her Broadway debut the following year in Three Sisters. In addition to her work on stage, LuPone has banked many recordings and has starred on television in Girls, American Horror Story: Coven, Law & Order: SVU, Glee, 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, Will & Grace and ABC’s Life Goes On. Her film credits include Union Square, Parker, City By The Sea, Summer of Sam, The 24 Hour Woman, Driving Miss Daisy and Witness.
