“Creating a Culture of Health at Work” presented by Live Well Lawrence

The WorkWell Lawrence sixth annual Symposium will be from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 4, at the Lied Center of Kansas, 1600 Stewart Drive, Lawrence. The program, “Creating a Culture of Health at Work,” will feature Dr. Roy Jensen, director of the University of Kansas Cancer Center. Jensen will present environmental and behavioral factors related to cancer and help make the economic case for why employers should want healthy employees. The event also will include a presentation on the KU Healing Foods Kitchen and discussion of creating a healthy foods and beverage environment through worksite celebrations, catering and vending. Cost is $40 before May 2 and $50 after. No refunds for cancellations will be given after April 29.
