Pavilion Chamber Series
The Zorá Quartet has received a long list of awards, including First Prize in the 2015 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. They also won the Grand Prize and Gold Medal at the 42nd Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and the Coleman-Barstow Prize at the Coleman National Chamber Music Competition in 2015.
The quartet’s members hold graduate degrees in performance and chamber music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and were part of the Jacobs School of Music’s prestigious Chamber Music Performer’s Diploma from 2014 to 2016.
The name “Zorá” was chosen by Bulgarian professor Kevork Mardirossian; it means “sunrise” in Bulgarian.
