Ovation! USD 497 Virtual Talent Show

A true community event benefiting the Lawrence Schools Foundation

The Lawrence Schools Foundation and Lied Center of Kansas are proud to announce the fifth annual, district-wide talent show for middle and high school students on Friday, February 12, 7:00 pm. This year’s event will be virtual, showcasing the amazing talents of USD 497 students! Brian Hanni, the Voice of the Jayhawks, will be the master of ceremonies for the event.

Middle and high school students in USD 497 were selected through a virtual audition process. The selected students will participate in a video-recording session on the Lied Center stage in a safe and socially distant manner. All of the acts—including instrumentalists, singers, dancers, aerialists as well as a comedienne and filmmaker—will be featured in a video premiere for the virtual event on February 12.

Ovation! proceeds will benefit the Lawrence Schools Foundation. Tickets are not required to watch the virtual event on February 12, however, donations to the Lawrence Schools Foundation are encouraged. Help us celebrate and support the youth in our community!
