Russian National Ballet: Swan Lake

This performance, previously scheduled for Sunday, January 23, 2022, has been rescheduled to next season on Sunday, January 29, 2023. The Lied Center will contact all ticketholders regarding this change.

Swan Lake is a timeless love story that mixes magic, tragedy and romance. The majestic Russian National Ballet brings to life the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. With choreography by Petipa and an unforgettable score by Tchaikovsky, it is one of the most magical and well-known works from the classical ballet repertoire. The Russian National Ballet has been bringing timeless ballet classics to the stages in North America since 1999. Legendary Bolshoi principal dancer Elena Radchenko is the founder of the Russian National Ballet, focusing on upholding the grand national tradition of the major Russian ballet works and developing new talents throughout Russia. The company performs a repertory of virtually all of the great full-ballet works, enlightening, inspiring and entertaining audiences across the continent.
