Not at this time. Due to public health circumstances and university policies, the Ticket Office is physically closed for the time being. However, there will be staff available by phone and email:

Hours: weekdays, Noon–5:30 pm Phone: 785-864-2787 Email: lied@ku.edu

There will not be an additional charge for ordering by phone while the Ticket Office is physically closed. However, if you would like your tickets to be mailed to you, there will be a $5 fee. You can select “Print at Home” or “Will Call” for your tickets with no additional charge.
Since seating is currently limited, it is very possible that shows will sell out. Friends of the Lied will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public, as normal. However, the timing will be based on donor level this season.

If the direction from public health authorities and the university allows us to increase capacity, the process for a sold-out show will be as follows:

  • First, we will attempt to contact Friends of the Lied ticket holders to see if they would like to change or upgrade (if applicable) their seats.
  • Then, there would be a Friends of the Lied presale period.
  • After the Friends of the Lied presale, the remaining seats will go on sale to the public.
Tickets are available only by phone until further notice. Due to the limited seating, staff members need to handle ticket sales in order to ensure social distancing between groups. Online ticket sales might be available on or after July 13, when single ticket sales begin for the public, if the guidelines set by public health officials and the university allow us to increase seating capacity and go back to normal seating.
Refunds and credits will be available in the case of a canceled or rescheduled performance. We will contact all ticket holders by phone and email as soon as possible to resolve ticket orders.

Please provide current contact information when purchasing tickets so we can reach you, if needed.

Initially, in anticipation of social-distancing needs, space will be reserved between groups of ticketholders to ensure patrons are at least six feet apart. As a result, seating availability may be reduced at the time of the event.
If you normally renew seats from season to season, your usual seats may not be available this season due to social distancing. If that’s the case, the Ticket Office staff will work with you to find the best seats available. We are hoping to return to normal seat renewals for the 2021–22 season based on the 2019–20 seat selections prior to COVID-19.
You will be able to sit next to the people in your group for which you buy tickets. However, there will be seats blocked off between your group and other ticket holders to ensure that groups are at least six feet apart.
We will only increase capacity and go back to normal seating if public health authorities and the university allows us to do so.
Depending on the number of ticket holders, the Pavilion performances may have to be moved to the Auditorium to have enough space to maintain social distancing.
In accordance with the university’s current policies, face coverings/masks are required inside the Lied Center. Patrons and staff should put on face coverings before entering the building. Current Lied Center policies and other COVID-19 information >
