Rhapsody in Black is a one-man play written and performed by LeLand Gantt. The play explores LeLand’s personal journey to understand, and for him, eventually transcend racism in America. LeLand shares experiences of growing up in a neighborhood where crime and drugs were rampant. And after a few mistakes, finding his way out of that neighborhood through hard work and educational achievement.
