Low brass musicians from USD 497, The University of Kansas, The New Horizons Band, and across the Lawrence community are coming together for Brassmas 2025!
This festive concert promises to fill the halls with the warm, rich sounds of Tubas, Euphoniums, and Trombones. Best of all, the event is free and open to the public, inviting everyone to celebrate the holiday season through music and community spirit.
The program will feature a special performance by The KU Tuba/Euphonium Consort as well as a selection of holiday favorites by musicians ranging in age from 12-80+. The ensemble will be conducted by Dr. David Earll, Tuba/Euphonium Professor at the University of Kansas. Whether you are a music lover, a supporter of local arts, or simply searching for a heartwarming way to kick off December, Brassmas 2025 is the perfect occasion.
Attendees can expect an uplifting, family-friendly experience lasting under an hour, making it an easy lunchtime event. No tickets or reservations are required—just arrive and enjoy!
