Ellie Wallace

Ellie Wallace was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She earned her International Baccalaureate Diploma from the French-American International School, while also studying composition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music on a merit-based scholarship. She earned her BA in French from Oberlin College.

Prior to moving to Lawrence, Ellie was the Artistic Associate at Baryshnikov Arts Center; serving as curatorial advisor to Founder & Artistic Director Mikhail Baryshnikov. She oversaw BAC’s core artistic programming activities including residencies, commissions, and performances of theater, dance, music, film, and multidisciplinary work. Her role also included developing programs and strategies to augment artist services and identifying partnerships and opportunities for BAC within the local and greater arts communities. Ellie has worked as a nominator, evaluator, and panelist for artist programs and awards such as Map Fund, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, United States Artists, and New York Live Arts Fresh Tracks program. She was a consultant and curator for the NYC FREE festival under the direction of Mikki Shepard. She currently serves on the board of LAAND (Lawrence All Ages Noise Destination).

Ellie joined the Lied Center as the Events and Operations Manager in 2024.
