Hanan Misko

Hanan Misko began his dance training in the Midwest and earned his BFA from The Juilliard School. He has performed with the Mark Morris Dance Group, Jessica Lang Dance, Ballet Hispánico, Martha Graham Dance Company, and the Metropolitan Opera, appearing in productions such as Faust, Don Giovanni, and Nixon in China. His repertoire includes works by José Limón, Paul Taylor, Ohad Naharin, and Aszure Barton.

As an educator, Hanan served as Artistic Director of the Fine Arts Summer Academy’s Dance Ensemble and led the Dance Program at the Lawrence Arts Center (2013–2025), where he also directed The Nutcracker, A Kansas Ballet. He is a graduate of Leadership Lawrence (Class of 2023) and continues to teach at the Lawrence Arts Center School of Dance.

Hanan joined the Lied Center of Kansas as Education Director in 2025.
