The Lawrence Barn Dance Association (LBDA) hosts regular contra dances featuring live music and lively dancing. Our dances are social, fun, and beginner friendly! You don’t need to bring a partner. The evening begins with easier dances and a beginner lesson is provided at 7:00pm.

32 BarTenders will mix up a cocktail of tunes from American, Irish, English and French traditions with a twist of original tunes and a splash of swing and tango.  With Tom Verdot on fiddle and banjo, Rebecca Logan on flute and penny whistle, Thom Howard on guitar and mandolin, and Marcie McGuire on piano. Lisa Harris-Frydman will call the dances.
