“Don’t Stop Me Now—The Music of Queen” Concert

Presented by the KU School of Music. Learn more >

The KU School of Music is thrilled to announce this Spring’s scholarship concert, “Don’t Stop Me Now—The Music of Queen.” Through this special tribute to Queen, our students will “Rock You” on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 7:30 pm at the Lied Center of Kansas.

Like the previous year, our annual Scholarship Concert is developing to present more options for our Jayhawks to “Break Free” and spread their musical wings. The KU Wind Ensemble, KU Symphony Orchestra, KU Jazz Ensemble I, KU Jazz Singers, KU Chamber Choir, and a host of other soloists will tackle the wide range of rock and roll hits from the legendary artists. We also have a special “Kind of Magic” for our audience at the end of our show (a can’t-miss moment).

Prior to the concert, the KU School of Music is providing a unique opportunity for scholarship recipients to meet their donors in person and showcase their talents face-to-face.
