Expanding Inclusion and Diversity Through the Performing Arts ended its final semester with an incredible array of artists and supporting programming in Fall 2023.
All members of the KU and Haskell communities were invited to work with the Lied Center, the Center for Teaching Excellence, and the Mellon Scholars Seminar to develop substantial and engaging approaches to bring the knowledge, skills, and experiences of diverse and transformative performing artists into classrooms across fields, discipline, genre and level—building inclusive practices and diverse approaches to learning through the performing arts.
